The main screen shows all people currently visiting your premesis. As they leave, the details are removed from the screen.
To start a new visit, click on the new visit icon
or select Visit
- New from the top menu.

The main white area (initially blank) shows an alphabetical list of all previous visitors. This list can be periodically purged. Either select a visitor from the list by clicking on the name or enter details of a new visitor in the boxes provided at the bottom of the window. Once you click OK the visitor's badge will print to the printer. Simply put the badge in a spare holder and issue it to the visitor.
Three options are available to complete a visit.
1. Using the bar code scanner, scan the returned visitor's badge. The details of that visitor will disappear from
the main screen.
OR
2. Click on the visitor's details in the main screen area so that they are highlighted in blue.
If the visitor is leaving, but their badge has been mislaid or will not scan, click the
icon.
OR
If the visitor has already left and you are uncertain of the time they left, click the
icon.
File menu options include:
Supervisor password access, to prevent unwanted tampering with your visitor database.
Purge function to periodically clear out unwanted visitor details.
Database backup and restore function, to enable you to use different databases for different events such as open days and conferences.
Export, to enable you to send your collected data in csv format to another application such as Excel or Access.
Start a new visit, or end an existing visit.
You can produce a report for all visitors on any date or between specified days. Similarly you can produce a report for any particular individual for any time period.

The date, start and end time for each visit is displayed. If the
out time is scored out, the visitor was logged out using the
icon, ie the exact time of departure was not witnessed.

Use the tools menu to set up the supervisor password, the print iotions for the visitor badges, and to select the
font used to display the visitor names on the main screen.
